October 1, 2009 This Issue's Special Points of Interest: REMINDER – Updated team registration deadlines ANNOUNCEMENT – On-line registration Important contacts and links   REMINDER – Updated team registration deadlines 5th – 6th Grade Teams: The 2010 AYLL team registration deadline, for those organizations wishing to field a team in the newly formed AYLL 5th – 6th Grade league, is December 1, 2009. Your registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable check in the amount of $250.00 which will apply toward your 2010 team fee. The balance of your 2010 team fee will be due on or before January 15, 2010. First Year Junior High School or High School Teams: The 2010 AYLL team registration deadline, for those organizations wishing to field a first year JHS or HS team, is October 15, 2009. Please contact newteam@azlax.com for any questions regarding first year teams including minimum organizational standards and team boundaries. Your registration must be accompanied by a check in the amount of $500.00. First year team registrations will be approved or denied on or before November 1, 2009. If your registration is approved, your $500.00 deposit becomes non-refundable and will be applied toward your 2010 team fee. If your registration is denied, your $500.00 check will be returned to you. Returning Junior High School Teams: The 2010 AYLL team registration deadline, for returning JHS teams, is October 15, 2009. Your registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable check in the amount of $500.00 which will apply toward your 2010 team fee. The balance of your 2010 team fee will be due on or before December 15, 2009. Returning High School Teams: The 2010 AYLL team registration deadline, for returning junior varsity or varsity high school teams, is December 15, 2009. Your registration must be accompanied by a non-refundable check in the amount of $750.00 which will apply toward your 2010 team fee. The balance of your team fee will be due on or before February 15, 2009. The link to the official 2010 AYLL team registration form, for all team categories noted above can be accessed by: clicking here.   ANNOUNCEMENT – On-line registration The 2010 AYLL on-line registration has been activated. Go to www.Azlax.com and follow the registration prompts. Every player, coach and team administrator must register on-line in order to be eligible for 2010 AYLL play. Please note that, you must be a current member of US Lacrosse to be eligible for 2010 AYLL play until such time as the AYLL accepts your registration application and notifies you that it has accepted your registration application, you are not eligible to PRACTICE OR PLAY for any AYLL team (failure to adhere to this prohibition could result in game forfeiture and/or suspension), and you will not be able to register on-line until your team has formally registered for 2010 AYLL play.
